Of course I have hearts for Vday :) I know you stocked up on your love plates for this year, but it's never to late to start thinking ahed, and besides, hears are always a good choice for stamping :)

BornPrettyStore L026 Stamping Plate

Hello friends!

I hope you had a merry Christmas and that you had the chance to spend it with your family and loved ones.
Before we enter new year, let's have a look at one of the big stamping plates from BornPrettyStore, BP-L026. This one has all kinds of leaves and the images are quite big so it will work great if you have long nails.

As usual with BornPretty plates, the images are etched nicely and transfer great, and you'll have a nice manicure in no time at all. I did 2 manicures with it so far:

This gradient is done with 2 China Glaze polishes, the purple is All aboard, and the gold sparkly beauty is Angel Wings.

This is Black Hole Sun by FoxyPawsPolish, stamped with BornPretty white stamping polish I reviewed a few days ago. You can see how well it transferred to the nail. I didn't use a stamping polish on manicure above, but it still transferred greatly, and that's thanks to the well etched plate.

Gold stamping

Hello friends!

Long time no see, I know. Sorry, I've just been very busy with my job and some family stuff I had to take care of.

But, now everything is more or less back to normal, so let's continue :)

I have another BornPrettyStore stamping polish for you, this time it's gold, and I think it's the perfect gold shade for upcoming holiday season.

This is a true yellow gold polish, and, as you can see, it stamps very well. I used BP02 lace plate for this mani over black polish and, as you can see, the image is very crisp and the polish totally opaque, which is something we all expect from a stamping polish.

I know some of you may be worried about the smell of this polish, and I can tell you it's barely noticeable and, I'm sure you remember I suffer from migraines and bad smells are one of my triggers, and had no problem with this one. It dries fast, transfers well and I can tell you I will be using it A LOT this holiday season, it's just the perfect gold shade :)

I did another manicure with it, this time over A England Let me in (a polish a fell in love with, but I'll show you more some other time). I didn't try it over white polish, but, in my experience, if a polish stamps good over black, it's even better over white. Here I used BornPretty L007 plate I bought during their recent sale:

Snowy sparkles

Hello, everybody! Snow and freezing cold came to Croatia, and I thought Zoya Vega would be the perfect polish for the weather :) I don't like the snow, or the cold, but I do like Vega :) My base is Maybelline French White, and i used some Essence striping tape for this one :) Since Vega is a textured polish (not a fan, to be honest) I also used a thick layer of Essie's Good to go top coat, to smooth it out.

Došao nam je snijeg i hladnoća, i učinilo mi se da je Zoya Vega pravi lak za okruženje :) Ne volim ni snijeg ni hladnoću, ali volim Vegu, i svaki izgovor je dobar izgovor :) Baza je Maybelline French White, a upotrijebila sam Essence traku za dezen. Vega je lak sa teksturom (nisam obožavatelj), pa sam obilno upotrijebila Essie Good to go nadlak.

Snow balls gradient

It's the first day of winter, officially. I'm not a fan of winter, so I'm not complaining at the current weather in Croatia, it's unusually warm, and, thank god, sunny.
However, I tried my luck in doing a wintery mani. I think I could have done a better gradient, but still, here it is:

Službeno je prvi dan zime. Nisam baš obožavatlej, pa se uopće ne bunim na ovo vrijeme koje nas je zahvatilo, konačno, sunce!
Ipak, probala sam napraviti zimsku manikuru. Mislim da sam gradient mogla napraviti i bolje, ali ipak.
Za gradient sam koristila Wet'nWild White Creme i Kiko 385, a onda sam štambiljala sa Kiko Metallic Silver i MoyouLondon pločicom Pro04. Dovršila sam svojim vjernim Essie Good to go nadlakom.

I used Wet'nWild White Creme and Kiko 385 for the gradient, stamped with Kiko Metallic Silver and MoyouLondon Pro04 plate, and then top coated with my faithful Essie Good to go.
This is probably the only wintery thing I will do, as I said, not a fan of winter. :)

Pixie dust all the things!

Pre-Christmas cleaning is no laughing matter, my dear polishaholics, so I trimmed my nails to avoid breaking and other mishaps. To motivate myself for said cleaning, I, naturally, turned to polish shopping. And boy, did I treat myself. This is Zoya Vega Pixie dust. My first Zoya, and a long wanted polish, because the name Vega has a personal meaning. You should also know Zoya is not cheap in Croatia, but I don't regret it. Just look at that polish! It's blue grey with holo glitter and so sparkly!

As you probably know, pixie dust is a textured polish, it dries matte, and it feels very gritty on the nail. I did top coat on pictures you see, but it still feels gritty, and then stamped it with white Essence stamping polish and MoyouLondon Fashionista 08 plate.

Dragi lakoljupci, kao što vidite, skratila sam nokte, jer ne treba se šaliti sa predbožićnim čišćenjem i stvarno ne želim da mi se dogodi neki bolni lom ili slično. Da se motiviram i natjeram na sve to čišćenje, bila sam u šopingu, i stvarno se počastila. Na fotkama vidite Zoya Vega Pixie dust, lak koji sam dugo željela jer ime "Vega" ima posebno značenje za mene. Kupljen je u Mulleru (zajedno sa još jednom Zoyom, ali o tome u drugom postu) i nije jeftin, ali na žalim. Vega je prekrasna! Zoyini pixie dust lakovi su lakovi koji se suše mat i osjeti se njihova tekstura na noktu. Stavila sam nadlak da mi nokti ne zapinju posvuda, ali svejedno se osjeti neravna površina. Na fotkama su 2 sloja Vege, nadlak, zatim Essence lak za štambiljanje i uzorak s Moyou London Fashionista 08 pločice, pa nadlak. Nisam baš neki fan lakova koji imaju teksturu, ali Zoya Vega mi se stvarno sviđa, sivo plava je, sa hrpom šljokica, sjajna i savršena za zimu!

Christmas came to Therapy!

Hello, fellow polish lovers!
Well, Christmas finally came to therapy :) To be perfectly honest with you, this year I'm not so big on Christmas because of all the personal stuff that's happened, and some of it that's still happening. Also,  I can't freehand a snowflake if it saved my life, so I did this, in my opinion, very festive and sparkly glitter gradient, with some help of chevrons from NailVinyls. 
The base is Kiko's Metallic Silver, and the glitter topper is Essence The most wonderfull tree from their Come to town collection. It's a good topper, packed with sparkly green bar and round glitter.
The pics are all in daylight, I did 2 coats of base, and then sponged the glitter on tips.

Božićno raspoloženje je došlo na terapiju :D Pravo da vam velim, ove godine baš nisam u božićnom raspoloženju, uglavnom zbog stvari koje su mi se događale, ili se još događaju, u privatnom životu, a snježnu pahuljicu rukom ne mogu nacrtati pa makar mi trebala za spasiti život, pa sam u pomoć pozvala šljokice i šablone koje sam kupila na nailvinyls.com.
Baza je Kiko Metallic Silver, a šljokice su Essence The most wonderfull tree iz njihove Come to town kolekcije (možete kupiti u DM ili Mulleru).
Sve fotke su na dnvenom svjetlu, a za ovu manikuru sam stavila dva sloja srebrnog laka, i onda spužvom napravila gradient, uz spomenute šablone na srednjem prstu i prstenjaku.
Nadam se da vam se sviđa. :)

Stamping obsession, vol 3

As you may have noticed, I am still obsessively stamping and, to be quite hones, plan to buy some more plates (but, shhhh, don't tell my husband).
The picture above is currently my favourite stamping image, it's from MoyouLondon Pro04 collection, and the polish is Kiko 514 Pearly Golden Coffee. I've been using a lot of Kiko lately, and I love them. A friend of mine was in Italy

and bought them for me as an early bday gift. I'm planning on buying a few more (and again, shhhh, don't tell husband) because they have a very good formula, and so many pretty color, and I noticed the ones from Quick dry collection are good for stamping.

This is Kiko 385 Pastel Blue stamped with Kiko's Metallic Silver and still Pro04 plate.

The last design I'll show you is a gradient I did with Essie's Sole Mate (my favourite wine colour ever, and currently one of my favourite polishes) and Wet n Wild Black creme, and again stamped with MoyouLondon Pro04. The gold polish I stamped with is a mini no name bottle I picked up in a drugstore a while ago.

This,  I really love:

The top coat I used on this is Essie's Good to go, and it's really shiny and good. This mani survived 3 days of house cleaning, so I think it's worth it's price (which, in Croatia, is around $14).
I love this design so much I think I'll do something similar for holidays, because I don't really like red and green, and I think purple and gold are great holiday colours. :)

Da, još uvijek sam opsjednuta stampingom, i da vam budem iskrena, planiram kupiti još pločica čim budem mogla.

Na prve dvije fotke su Kiko lakovi, dobila sam ih nekoliko od frendice ako rani poklon za rođendan, i stvarno su odlični, dobra formula i prekrasne boje, pa mislim da ću uskoro kupiti još nekoliko. Na žalost, nema ih u Hrvatskoj, ali dostupni su u njihovom web shopu (http://hr.kikocosmetics.eu/). Na prvoj fotki je Kiko 514 Pearly Golden Coffee, a na drugoj Kiko 385 Pastel Blue. Srebrni lak na drugoj fotki je Kiko Metallic Silver.
Na svim fotkama sam koristila stamping pločicu MoyouLondon Pro04.

Zadnje dvije fotke je gradient koji sam radila sa Essie Sole Mate i Wet N Wild Black creme, a zlatni lak je neki no name mini kojeg sam kupila u ljekarni. Mislim da ću nešto slično napraviti i za blagdane, jer ne volim baš crvenu i zelenu, ljubičasta i zlatna meni su baš prigodne boje za blagdane.

Ovu manikuru sam imala 3 dana, i preživjela je podosta pranja i čišćenja kuće. Mislim da je to zbog novog nadlaka, Essie Good to go, odličan je. Malo je skup (kupila sam ga u DM-u uz 25% popusta) ali, po mom mišljenju, vrijedan svake kune.
